Fund Advisor (primary contact)

An Fund Advisor has the authority to make recommendations regarding distributions from a fund, and to update, modify, or request other administrative changes to the fund. Unless otherwise established, each Fund Advisor to a fund has separate, full, and equal authority.

Please choose a name for your fund.  For example, "The Garcia Family Fund" or "Coral Reef Fund".


All grants from Tides are sent with award letters that generally include acknowledgement of the donor or Fund. Please select the default acknowledgement from the options below (acknowledgement can be updated on a per grant basis when making grant recommendations as well).


Investment Options
Tides provides donors with the option of opening an invested Collective Action Fund, which permits fund advisors to recommend that Fund assets be invested in Tides mission-aligned investment allocations. If you are interested in learning more about this option, please select “Yes”, and we will contact you to discuss our Investing for Impact resources and fees with you.

*A separate fee structure applies for invested Collective Action Funds.

Investment allocations will be finalized upon CAF application approval.

Please note that the minimum initial total contribution for a Collective Action Fund is $100,000.

Contribution transmittal instructions will be provided once the fund is approved.

Governance
The Independent Advisory Committee of the Fund (the “IAC”) is responsible for reviewing and recommending disbursements from the Fund. The IAC is expected to meet periodically, whether in person or by conference call, to review Fund activity, including the status of any required grant reports and proposals for future funding, as well as to discuss strategic priorities and anticipated fundraising.
