dana e. fitchett

dana e. fitchett (she/they), founder of Movement for Liberation, is a multi-, inter-, and trans-disciplinary artist whose practices are grounded in listening and cultivating new languages in service of alignment, integrity, and freedom. In addition to writing and editing for individuals and community organizations working for transformation and justice, dana dances, teaches movement classes, choreographs, and makes visual art. dana holds a bachelors degree in urban studies and a self-directed masters of fine art in interdisciplinary art and works in conversation with the expressive legacy of the African diaspora. She splits her time between Oakland, Boston, and New York.
