Dhaval Patel

Dhaval Patel is the Director of Investments at Tides. He owns, leads, and manages Tides’ institutional investment strategy. Additionally, he also partners with individuals, corporations, social change leaders, and other foundations on their philanthropic journey in impact investing and grantmaking. Dhaval joined Tides in 2016 and has overseen Tides’ growth from $250M+ in AUM then to $1.3B+ AUM now. Prior to joining Tides, Dhaval oversaw a $1.5B+ portfolio for an insurance company. Dhaval is a CFA Charterholder, has an MBA in Finance from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering from the University of South Florida.
