Molly Norton
Molly Norton is a senior advisor at Tides and the segment lead for our individual and family partners. She came to Tides after 15 years in nonprofit management in the sustainable agriculture and environmental sectors, including living abroad in Rwanda for 5 years working with Wildlife Conservation Society and Partners in Health. Before joining Tides, she was the director of philanthropy at Brighton Jones, where ran the firm’s corporate giving and volunteering programs and created their philanthropic advising services. She also started their foundation which brings together groups of clients in year-long giving circles focused on environmental issues and racial justice. Believing in travel as powerful tool for change, she led groups of donors on annual trips to Kenya and Alabama to visit the Civil Rights Trail. Molly is an alum of Camelback Ventures Capital Collaborative, which partners with white funders to increase capital to entrepreneurs of color and women. She is also part of the leadership circle at Conservation Lands Foundation and is a board member at the Rouse Charitable Foundation in her hometown of Baltimore. She lives in Seattle with her husband and two rambunctious sons.
