Tides Center’s Executive Director will lead the continued transformation and advancement of Tides Center as a partner-centric social justice center. Reporting to Tides’ Chief Impact Officer, this role will work closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams in alignment with Tides’ strategic plan to develop and implement a clear and compelling transformation strategy and implement a transformation roadmap. The Executive Director will lead Tides Center in achieving its mission by overseeing all aspects of its operations.
Strong candidates will offer demonstrated expertise in partner management with deep understanding of non-profit best practices, standard and complex fiscal sponsorship models, power building, and social impact strategies; strong understanding of grassroots organizing, movement building, government funding, 501(c)(3)/501(c)(4) affiliated relationships; proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced social impact environment; ability to thrive in a matrixed structure, fostering seamless cross-functional communication and collaboration. This role requires exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders; strategic thinking and problem-solving skills and a commitment to Tides’ mission and to advancing social justice.
