Resist Project 2025

Resist Project 2025 is a Tides Foundation initiative focused on equipping targeted communities to actively protect their rights and well-being. We provide grassroots leaders with the resources they need to defend their civil rights and ensure fair representation in the decisions affecting their communities.

Fund the Fight Against Project 2025

Project 2025 seeks to remove protections critical to civil rights, healthcare, and the security of communities already denied power. Communities of color, trans communities, immigrants, and women stand to be impacted the most by this erosion of rights.

Resist Project 2025 channels urgently needed support to organizations led by and serving these communities, enabling them to respond to escalating threats and secure their future.

Through the fund we support the creation of rapid response strategies, supplying adaptable resources to local leaders fighting to secure the rights, safety, and futures of their communities against targeted attacks designed to concentrate power and silence their voices.

    Advancing Community Resilience

We fund state and local organizations that are building resilience at the intersection of racial equity, climate justice, immigrants’ rights, health justice, and gender justice. With flexible support to counter urgent threats, we aim to sustain community power over time, building enduring resilience for future challenges.

    Mobilizing Public Support

Through resources for grassroots efforts that engage the public, influence opinion, and demonstrate resistance to rollbacks on rights, Resist Project 2025 builds a broad, active response to authoritarian tactics. By uniting local efforts across intersecting movements, we create a strong, interconnected network ready to defend against attacks.
