Mission: To teach and support organizations and leaders how to build, sustain and improve internal structures and organizational cultures.

How We Do This: We create transformative healing spaces and teach methodologies that support healthy, thriving individuals and organizations, that result in inclusive, diverse, aligned, and sustainable strategic transformational change.

Our mission is to provide evidence-based models, tools and services to the most challenged secondary schools serving the most vulnerable students in the country. TDS envisions a nation in which our most vulnerable students have access to an education that: develops their unique strengths and talents; builds their academic and socio-emotional competencies; engages them in relevant and exciting learning opportunities;
supports them so they can succeed; and prepares them for post-secondary education and the 21st century world of work.

We believe that all California students deserve a high-quality education that promotes achievement, health, and well being. We have a unique opportunity at this moment in time to ensure that happens.
Our mission is to strengthen the partnerships and strategies that will bring environmental literacy to all of California’s K–12 students.
Our vision is a world where everyone understands and experiences the interrelatedness of people and place; where all students have access to high-quality education with an environmental component; and where all people have the knowledge, awareness, and ability to make decisions that promote health and well being for themselves and their communities.

We are a native-led non-profit. Based in San Francisco, California, Turtle Island, we work in the Americas and the Pacific, collaborating with communities, organizations and individuals of all kinds, native and non-native.

Through research, education, advocacy and media production we work with Native communities on a wide range of cultural restoration and environmental protection projects.

Dream Defenders are building a powerful, deep, local organization and movement for freedom and liberation Nationally.

We believe that our liberation necessitates the destruction of the political and economic systems of Capitalism and Imperialism as well as Patriarchy. We believe in People over profits. We believe that nonviolent resistance is “the only morally and practically sound method open to oppressed people in their struggle for freedom” and are fundamentally committed to nonviolence as our means of struggle against a violent oppressor.

Our mission is to bring social change by training and organizing youth and students in nonviolent civil disobedience, civic engagement, and direct action while creating a sustainable network of youth and student leaders to take action and create real change in their communities.

The Guardsmen is a group of Bay Area men mobilizing their significant talents and resources to enhance and improve the lives of at-risk youth. This all-volunteer organization, founded in 1947, provides access to high-quality educational and outdoor activities for inner-city youth. The opportunities created through The Guardsmen’s scholarship and campership programs mean that every year kids who otherwise would not have a chance at success are given the opportunity to excel as productive members of society. Sometimes that support means giving kids a chance to “just be kids,” by giving them their first experience to hike, bike, or play a game of softball in the great outdoors. Sometimes that support means the difference between attending a low-performing public school, and access to a higher-quality private education and the life-changing course such an opportunity creates.

The Joseph and Mercedes McMicking Foundation was created by its benefactors, Joseph and Mercedes McMicking, to benefit education for children in need.

The goals of our foundation are:

– To be an example of charitable giving to children of all ethnic groups and ages.
– To support curriculum in K-12 schools and at the university level in the San Francisco Bay Area.
– To assist major museums and cultural organizations with their educational programs for children and families in the San Francisco Bay Area.
